I came into the store without an appointment with a flat tire. I had changed my tire with my donut. The tech came out right away and inspected the tire. There was a small piece of metal in it. He said he would not be able to fix the tire though, because there was too little tread left on it. After measuring and verifying my previous purchase, he told me I would be able to receive a credit since the tire had not reached the warranty mileage. I accepted the amount and told him what tires I would like to have put on. He checked his system and found that they did not have those in stock at the time but would order them. I set an appointment for the next day right after work. When I arrived, one of the texts met me before I even got into the store to get my keys. In all, I was only at the shop for less than 30 minutes. Fantastic service!

I have been using Discount Tire for many years and in our area both the Machesney Park and Rockford Stores are good professional and reliable in many areas - Roger Penske would proud of these stores (Roger owns the company)

Very pleased with the manner in which everything was handled. Think that this was at least 5-6 sets of tires through this store. Could not be more pleased about their services and pricing.

I ordered tires to be put on my car. There was some problems with receiving the tires so Discount Tire gave me different tires for the same price. Very happy customer!

Excellent fast service

Had a slow leak in one of the tires on my truck. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store by a friendly, professional person. They repaired the tire in about 30 minutes for no charge. There was never any question or pressure to buy something else. I will definitely return to your store when I need to replace the tires.

This location has always been spot on. They have always been friendly, up front, and knowledgeable with my vehicles and tire choices. Customer service has always been good for me.

This is my second bad experience at this store. The last time I had my tires balanced and rotated there, the tech cross threaded the lug nuts on the two rear tires, causing them to be stuck in such a manner that two of them broke off inside the rotor when trying to remove them, and had to be repaired. This visit, my rear suspension was damage by the tech that rotated and installed my new tires which made me lose control of the vehicle and almost having an accident. As a result, I am without my work vehicle, causing me extreme frustration, down time, and loss of revenue.
